Caring Beyond Limits

Providing care for vulnerable individuals is a very delicate matter. This type of work requires a lot empathy, humanity and patience. Fortunately, the people working at this company, both those in the office and those providing care, have demonstrated that they possess these qualities. I am especially thankful to those who have really made the effort to understand my mother's needs and showed her kindness.

Universal Care Service have given my mum excellent care from the beginning. All staff, whether in the office or carers in the field, have been super friendly, attentive, caring, thoughtful, and vigilant and have done everything we have asked of them to help and care for Mum. I have not regretted choosing Universal Care, they have proved to be worth their weight in gold. My mum, family, and I are really grateful that they are there when we need them. Thank you.

Universal Care Services has provided excellent care for my husband. They ensure all his care needs are assessed and met, including personal care, washing, dressing and emotional support, also prevention in relation to reducing his risk to pressure areas. Most importantly, they make him smile. They have built up a lovely relationship with him and he looks forward to seeing them every day. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they go above and beyond and take pride in their role. I have learned so much from them and feel very lucky that I chose this company.

Management, office and all staff have gone above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always there to help whenever I was struggling. As my parents’ needs have become more complex, Universal has worked tirelessly to maintain a high level of skilled support. The office team are responsive, honest and compassionate. The carers have almost exclusively been superb: they are well presented, work efficiently, always willing to listen and take on board my parents’ wishes. They are respectful of their home environment and committed to preserving their dignity with regard to personal care. Carers are good timekeepers and work hard for the whole session. On a couple of occasions, when this has not been the case, management has responded swiftly to address my concerns and I remain confident of Universal’s commitment to a client-focused high standard of care.
