Why choose Complex Care

Maintain Independence and Control

Care at home empowers individuals with physical disabilities to stay in control of their routines, from what time they wake up to how they spend their day. This promotes dignity, autonomy, and a sense of ownership over personal choices that may be limited in a care home setting.

Personalised, One-to-One Support

At-home care is tailored to the individual’s unique mobility challenges, routines, and preferences. Unlike care homes where staff must divide their attention, home carers focus entirely on the individual’s physical, emotional, and practical needs.

Comfortable, Familiar Environment

Staying at home means living in a familiar space that is often already adapted or can be modified to support mobility. This reduces the stress of relocation and helps individuals feel secure and settled, which is especially beneficial for long-term conditions.

Flexible and Adaptable Support

Home care can be scheduled around work, education, social activities, or hobbies. Whether support is needed for just a few hours a day or 24/7, the service adapts as needs change—allowing for a full, active lifestyle with fewer restrictions.

Better Emotional and Mental Well-being

Home care allows individuals to remain connected to their community, family, and social networks. This familiarity and sense of belonging can significantly reduce feelings of isolation or depression, which can be more common in residential settings.

Family Involvement and Peace of Mind

Families can be closely involved in the individual’s life and care, supporting emotional well-being and providing reassurance. Being cared for at home makes it easier for loved ones to visit, participate, and maintain strong relationships.

Sandra S (Niece of Client) – Worcester

Universal Care Services has provided excellent care for my husband. They ensure all his care needs are assessed and met, including personal care, washing, dressing and emotional support, also prevention in relation to reducing his risk to pressure areas. Most importantly, they make him smile. They have built up a lovely relationship with him and he looks forward to seeing them every day. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they go above and beyond and take pride in their role. I have learned so much from then and feel very lucky that i chose this company.

Pauline P (Wife of Client) – Coleshill

Universal Care Services have given my Mum excellent care from the beginning. All staff, whether in the office or carers in the field, have been super friendly, attentive, caring, thoughtful and vigilant and have done everything we have asked of them to help and care for Mum. I have not regretted choosing Universal Care, they have proved to be worth their weight in gold. My Mum, family and i are really grateful that they are there when we need them. Thank you.

Shirley A (Daughter of Client) – Ipswich

Providing care for vulnerable individuals is a very delicate matter. This type of work requires a lot of empathy, humanity and patience. Fortunately, the people working at this company, both those in the office and those providing care, have demonstrated that they posses thee qualities. I am especially thankful to those who have really made the effort to understand my mother's needs and showed her kindness.
